1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Ampure ExamPro ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

The Platform is provided by Ampure Centre ("we," "us," or "our"), a registered educational service provider in Kenya.

2. Description of Service

Ampure ExamPro is an online examination platform that enables:

  • Educational institutions to create and administer examinations
  • Students to take examinations online
  • Automatic grading and result generation
  • Secure exam proctoring features
  • Comprehensive reporting and analytics

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To use the Platform, you must register for an account and provide accurate, complete information.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

3.3 Account Types

  • Institutional Accounts: For schools, colleges, and universities
  • Examiner Accounts: For teachers and administrators
  • Student Accounts: For examination candidates

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 Permitted Use

The Platform may only be used for lawful educational purposes in accordance with these Terms.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the Platform
  • Use the Platform to cheat or facilitate academic dishonesty
  • Share examination content without authorization
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Violate any applicable Kenyan laws or regulations

Important: Any violation of these Terms may result in immediate account suspension and legal action where appropriate.

5. Fees and Payments

Certain features of the Platform may require payment of fees (in Kenyan Shillings):

  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by Kenyan law
  • We may change fees with 30 days' notice
  • All payments are processed through secure payment gateways

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Platform Content

All Platform software, design, and content is owned by Ampure Centre and protected by copyright laws.

6.2 Examination Content

Institutions retain ownership of their examination content but grant us a license to host and display it.

6.3 Restrictions

You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Platform without our written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the last 6 months
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account:

  • For violation of these Terms
  • For prolonged inactivity (over 24 months)
  • For any reason with 30 days' notice

You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Nairobi.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
